About Herend:

The Herend Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1826 by Vince Stingl in the village of Herend in Hungary. Herend produces a wide range of porcelain, including tableware, figurines, and decorative items, with a focus on intricate designs and patterns. Herend's products are known for their quality, craftsmanship, and historical significance, with many classic patterns still in production today. In the 19th century, Queen Victoria was one of Herend's first customers, creating the iconic Queen Victoria pattern. Then came other famous European families including the Rothschild Family, creating the Rothschild Bird pattern, the Habsburg Family, the Shah of Persia, Count Apponyi, and so on.
