Trio of Splendid Fairywrens
Seemingly plucked from the imagination of a children's book author, the splendid fairywren is found in Australia. The vibrant blues are known as a "nuptial plumage" since mainly breeding males exhibit these colors and they will molt into the more somber palette exhibited by their female counterparts after breeding season is over. Excited about painting such a delightful bird, Herend's artists have used their imagination to create an avian vignette equal to the bird's memorable name.
