Rambouillet Dessert Plate

Designed by Jean Bertholle in 1955 at the request of the French President, René Coty, each piece features animal scenes on leafy brown backgrounds. Created to furnish the prestigious homes that hosted the Presidential Hunts, Rambouillet is hand painted at the Gien Faience Factory in the Loire Valley of France. Each item has the initials of the artisan that painted the piece on the reverse. Made in France.
